Probably an unpopular opinion but Jagex shouldn’t host DMM competitions with real money on the line when they’re so susceptible to DDoS attacks. Involving real life money in this game mode has caused a plethora of issues over the time it has been around. Might be time to rethink
don't think the prize pool matters, the finalists were already going to split the money and the server was still being fried
Doesn’t the two finalists know eachother make it even more suspicious?
They should just upgrade their servers
Yeah but there will never be another DMM. This could work but nah its never gna happen again.
They need someone to make an executive decision to stop or pause the competition when the world is being ddosed to get it fixed instead of just continuing.
I agree with this, not sure how hard it would be for them on osrs but I see this in Rocket Leauge esports where if a player is to dc they have a server admin pause the game. They also do things having games being a BO3/5/7 etc
the real prize should be to hunt down famous Runescape players in-game with godly powers
So lucky that the top finalists are from the same clan. Also so lucky they werent having lag problems like hundreds of other players. Congratulations to Frontline for being the winners
Did you not watch the final fight?
