Sometimes you'll see a parent on the nest start pecking the gravel around them. They are actually eating bits of gravel, which goes into the gizzard to help grind up food. Chicks don't eat anything not given to them by a beak, so the parents will give them baby bits instead.

Lyna: An absolutely terrifying and totally true tale about ghosts lurking in Lakeland shrubbery G'raha Tia: He chose to go last, and after much coaxing from you, recites a bone-chilling tale about the Crystal Tower...why is EVERYTHING haunted around here??
Gaius: He has zero imagination so he passes on his turn. Varis: >:( Zenos: Surprisingly enough, he actually has several. They're all about his swords, though...you're pretty sure most of them are cursed at this point.
Emet-Selch: Being internet-savvy, his story is about cubuses. Lahabrea: It's about the horrors of HYDAELYN and why she must be BURNED OUT like the PARASITE she is Elidibus: he doesn't remember any ghost stories
Magnai: The Sun fears NOTHING! But The Sun does know some tales that lesser beings find scary... Sadu: She genuinely doesn't get this entire concept so she just laughs at everything the whole time and gets drunk
Gosetsu: Somehow the ghost is a samurai of Doma, doomed to wander searching for his master and bringing disaster wherever he goes! Cirina: As absurd as it is scary, peppered with strange idioms related to food and body parts
Hien: He tells a classic Doman horror story, but the creatures he describes are so viscerally horrific and strange that they won't leave your mind Yugiri: Stories of tragedy on the ocean floor, shipwrecks, and ghost ships...you may never sail with peace of mind again.
Francel: He doesn't know any proper ghost stories, but...there was this one time in a storm when he thought he saw... Stephanivien: The tale of the haunted clockwork! Suddenly the ticking of a nearby clock seems much more ominous.
Artoirel: Tells the sad tale of a musician tormented by unseen voices, which leads to a debate among healers present about how to diagnose the illness Honoroit: He's never heard any of these so he's sitting petrified next to Alphinaud.
Emmanellain: He gets cut off a third of the way through his story by Edmont, who admonishes him for spreading uncouth rumors in the hearing of their guests. Edmont: No stories but he's making sure everyone's snack plates are full so that's okay
